Beyond the "Agicap vs Cashlab vs Pennylane Cashflow" debate: which SMEs are truly adopting real-time cash management, why cash flow is the only real health indicator for a business, and how we integrated Orizen Trésorerie so that an issued invoice feeds the forecast without copy-pasting.
IWho it’s for
A cash flow tool for SMEs that want to see before things move, not after.
Cash flow remains the top stressor for SME leaders. Not because cash is always missing, but because they don’t see it coming. Four profiles keep recurring.
SME leader (10–100 employees)
You check your bank balance every morning and fly by the seat of your pants. No visibility for the next 30 days, let alone 90.
Consolidated multi-bank balances, continuous 30/60/90-day forecast, early alerts. Decide based on numbers, not anxiety.
CFO or SME management controller
You maintain an Excel cash flow plan updated manually once a month. The result is ±15%, and you know it.
Real-time cash flow plan, optimistic/realistic/pessimistic scenarios, automatic updates with every invoice issued. Move from Excel maintenance to strategic analysis.
Post-funding founder
Your board asks for an accurate runway every month. Today: piecing together Stripe + bank accounts + Pennylane = pain.
Runway automatically calculated, 12–24 month cash projection, Stripe integration. Generate the board pack in one click.
Group treasurer or CFO
You manage 3 to 10 entities, each with its own bank accounts and invoices. Cash consolidation is a nightmare.
Native multi-entity support, aggregation of up to 10 multi-bank accounts, automatic consolidation. No more cobbled-together Power BI from manual exports.
IIReal-time cash flow
Consolidated bank balances, 30/60/90-day forecasts, early alerts — all in one tool.
The visual breakdown below: the recurring pain points of cash management without tools, Orizen Cash Flow’s 4 core features (DSP2 aggregation, multi-scenario forecasting, URSSAF/VAT alerts, EC reporting), and native integration with your invoicing.
What business leaders experience
Without cash management, you’re deciding blindly.
3 recurring pain points your peers solved by connecting Orizen Treasury.
"I find out my balance when I check the bank"
Balances scattered across 3 accounts, supplier outstanding amounts never consolidated. No real-time visibility.
"My cash flow forecast? It’s an Excel sheet from two days ago"
Manually updated once a month, disconnected from your invoicing, accurate to ±15%.
"Deadlines? I find out the morning they’re due"
URSSAF charges, VAT, suppliers: no early reminders, no possible arbitration.

IVFAQs
Answers to the questions we’re asked most often.
Do I need Orizen Invoicing to activate Orizen Cash Flow?
No. Orizen Cash Flow can connect directly to your DSP2 bank accounts. Integration with Orizen Invoicing improves forecast accuracy (projecting customer receipts from issued invoices and actual payment terms per client), but it is not mandatory. Many SMEs start with Cash Flow alone and enable Invoicing 3 to 6 months later.
Are my banking data hosted in France?
Yes. All our servers are hosted in France (OVH Roubaix), and our DSP2 providers are ACPR-certified (Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution). Full GDPR compliance, AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit. Your banking credentials are never stored in plain text; they only transit via approved APIs.
How many bank accounts can I connect?
Up to 10 accounts (multi-bank) on the standard plan, covering the 5 main French banks (Crédit Agricole, BNP, LCL, Société Générale, La Banque Postale) and over 100 European banks via DSP2. For more than 10 accounts (multi-entity groups, holdings), contact us for an enterprise plan.
Is the export to my accountant automatic?
Yes. Native Pennylane connector with two-way synchronisation, automatic monthly export to MEG, Quadratus, Sage, Cegid. Your accountant receives clean data without any action on your part—especially useful at month-end for bank reconciliations.
How much does the Cash Management module cost for a French SME?
From €39 ex VAT/month for an SME (1-5 users). Transparent pricing on the Pricing page, with volume discounts beyond that. For comparison: dedicated cash management tools (Agicap, Cashlab, Pennylane Cashflow) range from €50 to €250/month. Orizen Cash Management is positioned at the lower end with native coverage.
How does Orizen distinguish between optimistic, realistic and pessimistic forecasts?
Three scenarios are calculated automatically: (1) Optimistic = all receipts arrive on the theoretical due date. (2) Realistic = receipts weighted by each customer’s historical average delay. (3) Pessimistic = receipts delayed by an additional 15 days + 5% risk of non-payment for new customers. You see all three curves to anticipate trade-offs before cash flow tensions arise.
VOur conviction
A company doesn’t die from losses. It dies from a lack of cash.
Business failures always reveal the same tension: an acceptable income statement hid underlying cash flow issues. In the short term, cash decides everything—hiring, contract signing, supplier management.
Yet most SMEs manage their cash flow like monthly accounting: a glance at the balance, an occasionally updated Excel sheet, personal memory of major deadlines. When the shortfall hits, it’s too late to adjust.
We’ve seen too many profitable SMEs panic 30 days before an URSSAF payment they hadn’t anticipated. Too many CFOs rebuilding a cash flow plan by hand, only to find the next day that a new invoice made it obsolete.
So we built Orizen Trésorerie. Natively connected to your invoicing, bank accounts and accountant. So cash management becomes what it should always have been: a daily act, not an end-of-month reaction.
